The Caribbean EFT Community is a dedicated group of mental health professionals committed to promoting the practice of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) among Caribbean therapists and providing a robust support network for learning and practicing EFT.
Our mission is to make EFT training affordable and accessible, encouraging therapists to pursue certification and grow in their professional journey. We strive to increase public awareness of EFT and its transformative power in healing emotional and relational challenges.
By empowering Caribbean Therapist on their EFT journey to certification we hope to connect individuals, couples, and families with certified EFT therapists. We aim to address the diverse mental health needs of the Caribbean population with care, compassion and connection. As a community, we are united in our stand against messages of hatred, fostering an environment of unity, respect, and understanding.

Monique, a Trinidadian practicing in Toronto, has been dedicated to Emotionally Focused Therapy for the past decade. Humbled by the model's transformational capacity to co-create deep healing.
Monique dreamed of supporting Caribbean therapists on their own EFT journeys, hoping they could become the ripple effect to bring healing to Caribbean communities. As a founding member of the Caribbean EFT Community, this dream is becoming a reality. She is deeply committed to enhancing cultural responsiveness and addressing intergenerational trauma within the Caribbean Diasporic community, empowering therapists to provide compassionate and effective care, and fostering growth and resilience in both therapists and clients.
